MySpace is TRASH for Dating

According to a MySpace post made by YouTube Vlogger (real name is Ron), “Myspace is TRASH for dating and serious relationships! ” and goes on to say “I can barely believe how over-hyped this place is for meeting girls in-person!”

Vlogger made a video blog at YouTube which detailed and exposed the harsh reality of the dating and serious relationship aspects of Myspace for heterosexual guys and said “This can be a good place to keep up with old friends, but as far as meeting members of the opposite sex from a guy’s standpoint (and perhaps a girl’s too?) and ACTUALLY dating and meeting, it sucks donkey ______ (expletive deleted).”

Rosalind: I couldn’t agree more. If you really want to meet someone online, don’t leave matters to chance on MySpace or other free dating sites where you can’t select partners according to location, age, ethnicity, education and a whole host of other aspects that are essential to your ultimate dating success.

Yahoo! PersonalsBUSINESS WIRE — Jan 11 — The period between the December holidays and Valentine’s Day is National Break-Up Season, according to research from Yahoo! Personals , the largest online personals site.

In addition to making resolutions to become healthier and make more money, couples also tend to take stock of their relationships and think about whether they are with the right person in January.

“‘Find a new love’ is up there with ‘lose weight’ and ’save more money’ as a New Year’s resolution,” said Anna Zornosa, vice president and general manager, Yahoo! Personals. “People tend to ‘put up’ with current relationships in order to have a partner for holiday gatherings, but once the festivities are over it’s time to decide whether to fish or cut bait.” Read the full article at Business Wire

    Will 2007 be YOUR Year?

I just wanted to drop you a note to wish you a “Happy New Year” with hopes that this will be your best year ever… and that you find that boyfriend or girlfriend in 2007.

Here are 5 tips help you on the path to love this year.

    1. Ask your friends to stay on the lookout for good candidates. Be specific about the type of person you want to meet, ie. fit, non-smoker and whether you are willing to date a single parent.

If you aren’t sure exactly which qualities will suit you best, I HIGHLY recommend that you take advantage of eHarmony’s FREE personality profile service.

    2. Join a singles club in your community. Whether it is a sports, dance or chess club, the best way to meet other singles in your neighborhood is to go where they go.

    3. Join a few online dating services. Millions of people have found their special someone online. Hedge your bets by joining more than one dating service.

You’ll find a wide range of services listed here atSage-hearts.com

    4. Keep working on yourself. Not only will you feel better when you drop those pounds you gained over the holidays, quit smoking or get your finances in order - but you’ll be more attractive to more people.

(Side note: Is weight loss part of your New Year’s resolution? Choose from Jenny Craig or Weight Watchers for one year on me.)

    5. Become a dating machine. Get out there to meet for coffee or lunch at every and any opportunity. You just never know who might prove to be Mr. or Ms. Right until you get out there and meet them.

Here’s to your best year yet!!

    Cheers, Rosalind
